This was incredibly cool after I fisrt made it. But since I didn't have the camera on hand at the time, I stuck it in the freezer. And it is hard to get good pictures of something that is wilting and melting all at the same time. I couldn't get a good shot with the lights on, but most of the colour was lost during freezing anyway. Sorry about that.
Yay for the smell of burning watermelon.

You basically shave off different layers to different depths. With watermelons you can get a little fancier and scrape off this thin later from the surface to get an additional layer, I used it here for the tail.

I don't remember what the time was on this one exactly, but on average it takes anywhere from 4 to 6 hours, depending on how complicated I want to get
