Somehow fitting, yes?It's that time of year again. Actually not quite. It's kind of late for watermelons, but still too early for pumpkins. I had the mad urge to carve though, so a watermelon it is!
I've always intended to finish my set of all the eeveelutions on watermelons, but the keep coming out with new ones! 3 more to go, maybe a project for next summer.
This one is awesome. I had fun carving it and it looks fantastic IRL. Poo that the pictures never look as good. I wish I could take screenshots from my brain of exactly how this looks so I could show you. Be sure to check out the version with some light, it looks awesome.

B) this is the backlight version. the light is coming from behind the carving, not outside it like it is in the other picture.

I think of backlight in a different way. Since the carving itself is the focus of the picture, having everything in the background lit up is backlit to me, if that makes sense.
