Poor little guy! Are the pale-shells actually doomed from birth or did something else cause the deaths of his friends? Albino animals do tend to die in the wild, but itβs usually because of exposure to the sun (since they donβt have any pigment to absorb sun they get burnt up), maybe Toxic could form a band of white mole changelings to dig tunnels or something. Great stuff, I love changeling lore stuff so much

They aren't capable of consuming love like other changelings, so they tend to starve to death. Hence why Chrysalis kills them beforehand. They have a host of other defects that make life hard so their survival rate is very low. I made some other posts about them so if you want, you can check them out.Β

Well, sheesh Chrysalis...
Your Next-Gen Chrysalis would not be good pals with my OC.

To be fair, my Chrysalis is quite sad about these things too. but can't see any other solution. She has no clue why they die (I guess it's pony SIDS) but chooses to get around it by thinking of them as still births. It makes her feel better though she admires Toxic for always trying to save them even after this happens.

Well... that's definitely at least a little better than my verse's Chryssi.
My OC hates the guts of my verse's Chrysalis.Β
