Time travel is an enigma where you can only go foward.
-backwards can not be done without increasing, massive, damage.

Theoretically speaking, it's impossible to go to a place in time where the time machine doesn't exist.
Unless you move at a speed faster than light in a straight line, though you wouldn't be able to be in the same *space* than where you began, you'd be in another *time*.
Then again, it's impossible for anything to go faster than light unless it's space that you *bend* so that you take a *shortcut* and get there before light does.
... now I'm sure I watch too much Discovery Chanel.
