I had a photo collection of abandoned buildings, even a city (Chernobyl) and these look like some of the pics there. Ruins left to the elements, just like that series AFTER MAN.

(I had, before I downed pen on cartooning and later,text stories, come up with ideas for characters. One, a mutant, was codenamed Agent Orange, and the other, his foe, Chernobog, another mutant. Aside from Agent Orange wearing a slouch hat and a trench coat, and Chernobog being huge and muscle-bound, I drew a blank at personal data. Too many stories got no further than a rough sketch-out and some were discouraged by my poor attempts at drawing them.Β It has been some 22 years since I last cartooned, and a couple of years since I last did any text fan-fiction, and being abandonedΒ by correspondents ,did not help...)

Yeah... I feel ya', my dude. Sometimes it's just difficult to hammer out a story, I'm still working on the logistics of my stories and I'm not sure how they will go. Keep at it, man! You'll get there in the end!

Why do I get the feeling that these... creepier drawings... are tales of where people have committed suicide, where they then become these black shadow-spirit-things and try to scare/convince others to do the same?

These shadow creatures are just too damn adorable looking for this to be scary. The way their looking straight at me makes them look so helpless, as if they need someone to help them stand up from out of their chairs. Being that their armless and all.

If I saw these guys I would ask them what their doing and sit with them for no reason. Or if this was at a creepy place in the middle of nowhere and their was no one with me. I would just leave and pretend I didn't see them or say "this isn't the bathroom" and then leave.
