Wow this took forever to upload (I think around 2.5 hours for 7 minutes of content? Yikes)
Like I said in the video, I wanted to get a quick one in since my next few projects might take a while. I had wanted to save a tutorial for later, but who says I can't make another one haha
This tutorial covers how I make semi-animated icons! This is really more of a step by step on how I made this icon, but it's sort of a tutorial on my process. It really stinks that Deviantart doesn't allow anything over 15kb, so I have to work with that I guess. I hope you all like this tutorial! If there is anything specific you would like me to make a tutorial for in the future, let me know in the comments!!
*Also I would be very very happy if you didn't just trace over this art and make your own icon because this character belongs to someone*

How do you turn on onion skin mode?

Go under the view tab, and towards the bottom thereβs an βOnion Skinβ thingy, and just click that

that's awesome! thx for making the tutorial! I also use FireAlpaca but i use PixilArt for animated icons because it has the frames and it shows the other frames when u go onto a diff one so you could use PixilArt if u want to

ah hey! in the video your pen brush is pixely and not as smooth as normal, what settings do you have it set to?

I just turned off Anti-Aliasing or something like that? (That way I can use the full bucket instead of coloring in
