What are you talking about? DC isn't making their characters "like that". Wonder Woman is literally an Amazon, so she got her powers grom the Greek Gods, and Shazam has the powers of the Gods (Greeks and others) because thats literally what SHAZAM means.Β
Also the Old Gods and the New Gods are a very old concept in DC, it was created by Jack Kirby himself.
