Description How can I call myself an artist, especially of animals, and never draw my own dog?!!!  Here is Rudy, who turned 13 on Dec. 22, 2014.  Right now he is recovering from surgery.  He had a tumor removed (fatty and benign but big) and two stones from his bladder.  He's feeling a little rough.  His ears are bushy (this is from a photo I took) because I am lax at keeping them trimmed and this is how I see him most every day anyhow, and certainly in my mind.   Again 11" x 13" pencil on smooth bristol board.  Love my dog.  Oh, yeah, he's a Sheltie or Shetland Sheepdog.
