Alright, I said that I would do a medieval snow trooper. Here he is. I really struggled in getting that snow trooper essence into a medieval character. I figured the helmet (like most characters in star wars) was key.Related content

I usually free paint but with these star wars redesigns I started experimenting with photo bashing characters. So I use phototextures heavily in these pieces. I really enjoy painting from scratch but I've been trying to practice techniques used in the industry more. With photobashing you can knock out a character in two hours or so. It's a really fast workflow.
