At first, I didn't know if I was going to be able to do a hundred word critique on something so simple, but as I was writing all of this in a comment, I realized, I CAN DO IT!
I really like the simplicity of this. The white background really allows the viewers eye to appreciate the different colors, and to notice the different shades of the wood shavings.
I like how it looks natural, how it's something a lot of people see every day, but probably don't pay any attention to.
I also like how you used all the different colors.
The only thing I don't like is the watermark, but I do understand the necessity of them in this day and age...though it does make it hard to appreciate the picture on full view.
Overall, this is a really nice piece! ^^ Great job!

i love the concept, and the colours. The composition draws your eye around the photograph as well as confusing it a little with where to start. I enjoy that aspect of it. I cannot find anything bad to say about this photograph. The contrast is lovely as is the idea and the execution. I love the clean background with the shadows and the macro detailing. You've done a lovely job with this photograph. I also feel as though this has a bit of a hidden message to do with racial equality. I love how this simple idea conveys so much.

i duno but theirs just something about them i absolutely love ya know? like any of them... even something simple or complicated or crazy or anything, as long as it has something to do with the colored pencils i love it xP
