Diana defeated Marvel's VERY easily in the JLA/Avengers crossover.

Well, they did in pretty much every other fight. For example, Superman beats Thor, barely, and a moment later, a dozen of the strongest Avengers (Hercules included) start pummeling him; Aquaman had to summon a giant prehistoric sea creature to save him.

Superman beat THOR, but Superman could barely stand afterwards, Herc was just taking advantage of that, he could very well give Superman a great fight.
Herc still has feats on his side that outmatch Diana's by a large margain.

You know what also happened in the cross over comic? Storm BEAT WONDER WOMAN! Now tell me seriously that you think Storm can beat Herc, because that seems very unlikely.

Of course Storm can, because she used LIGHTNING. That had been established as Wonder Woman's weakness for a while now; probably a way for Zeus to keep her under control if necessary.Β
Dr Polaris himself commented on this once, while using electromagnetism to hold her down. In the JL cartoon, she got stopped a few times with electric weaponry.Β
Hercules wouldn't have that weakness since, of course, he's the son of 'Lightning Master' Zeus.

I also use the comics as a source. This happened in both the Storm fight and in some canon comics.
And yes, that's what happens in the current comics, but, in the post-Crisis ones, after Diana got 'relaunched', Zeus actually hit her with lightning at least once.
