This male lion is finally finished.β’
I've been feeling really unsatisfied with my oil paintings lately and just keep coming and coming back to fix my two latest oil paintings (the lion and the bears family). Eventhough I have almost finished them, I can't say that I am satisfied with the result and I'm feeling kinda frustated in the process.
Doing the digital painting couple of days ago helps me to refresh my mind.
So I go back to this lion, stared at him and ready to put all the final details and call it finished. The painting still cant make me fully 'satisfied', but that's okay cause I'm pretty happy with the result.

I think this turned out great! Thank you for sharing your thoughts in the description. I think those are words I needed to hear because I have been struggling with the mind games of oil painting myself. Every time I think I am near the end, I think "One more layer, no maybe another, ....and another."
