There's so much to like about this piece! The detail is great and so is the color palette. The mood is dark but energetic. Objectively, it's just a really good composition. But on a more personal note - I usually don't like how Splinter is drawn by anyone - but I think he looks really good here! Old but not decrepit. Full of lots of "old man strength."
