it is possible to tattoo over moles, however most tattoo artists (myself included) prefer not to disturb moles because of the high risk of mutation into cancerous cells associated with moles. I'm no scientist yet, but I'd just rather err on the side of reason.

Oh okay, I have one on my back, it isn't raised though, but I do want a tattoo that'd go right over it... But I feel the mole would take away from the beauty of the tattoo if it was still visible, I'm not sure what to do.
