Description
Acclaimed researcher of therianthropy (in the sense of human-animal shapeshifters, not modern "otherkin") and Laurent Institute founder Dr. Jean-Paul Laurent is here to demonstrate the six stages of shifting. A shifter can exist at any point along this continuum; it is an attempt at creating a guide for shifters themselves and those who know them. Some shifters are limited to two of these stages, others can shift to any point between all of these stage, and many are somewhere in between.

Stage 2
Signs of the shifter's theriomorphic form become visible. He typically has a thin coat of fur, and some of his extremities will start showing theriomorphic features. The tail typically appears at either this stage or the next stage.

I couldn’t let #Julycanthropy go by without drawing some werewolf art, so I’m introducing a new lycanthropic character I’ve been developing. (Tangentially, he’s the adoptive father of both Hope and Lewis . That also makes him Marie’s father-in-law.)
