Description Ok, I'm not so into The Avengers that I would bother participating the fandom too much god dammit do I ship Captain America and Coulson like FedEx. I ship them hard. Like real hard, it's serious business for me. So I felt oblicated to do a piece for them.

Oh lord how much I love Coulson. Coulson is my spirit animal. Screw superheros, I'd trust my life on Coulson. He should have his own movie, he's incredibly cool. Those Marvel-oneshots about him? Glorious. I would watch the heck out of film him being all efficient and cool and getting all the bad guys being completely collected and smooth about it.

And I find his Captain-fanboying so endearing! I mean, he's like a picture of cool, he deals with superheros and demogods and keeps his head straight and yet he's awkward fanboy-jelly when he first meets his big-big hero. God I can relate to that. Even the coolest ones have that one soft spot. Or in Coulson's case on BIG soft spot.

So that's why I ship them so much. They're awesome. Deal with it. Plus Captain's suit looks like it has a corset. I like to for reasons. And so does Coulson. I'm sure he made it tighter than it necessarely should.

Hahhahha, I shoud not be allowed to do backgrounds.

That's basically what Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Coulson catching bad guys, stopping Hydra and protecting Sky (she's like his adoptive daughter, he adores her and is super protective of her, it's really sweet) while staying cool and collected most of time (except when Sky's in danger, then he's an unstoppable rage machine.) I never really thought of Coulson having any romantic feelings for the Cap, he just really admires him and thinks he's super awesome, though even a straight guy's got to admit Steve's got a great butt.

Ah, well, I like shipping them too, but I agree that in any case, one must admit that Cap has a great butt in the uniform. Or something like that, this is not very new piece, so I'm sorry that I don't have that many good things to say back to you, but I appreciate the effort you made for commenting. That's always nice.

Coulson, Coulson, Coulson... I just can't imagine anything else than him following Captain America around, trying to pick up some conversation while being maximum awkward. And Steve is nice, he notices how nice guy the agent is, hey're just both so cute little buttons <3

Itse asiassa hyvin harvon näkee noin ilolla tehtyä popkornileffaa, sellaista mikä ihan oikeasti tuntuu sarjakuvalta isolla screenillä, eikä ota itseään niin vakavasti vaan on on puhtaasti viihdttämässä.

LilianG In reply to jossujb [2012-09-05 17:41:52 +0000 UTC]

jossujb In reply to LilianG [2012-09-05 17:54:32 +0000 UTC]

No ihan varmasti aikoo, nythän on tulossa osaksi Nolanin tuottama(?) Man of Steel- Teräsmiesleffa Salee niillä on jo joku ovela suunnitelma

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

jossujb In reply to LilianG [2012-09-07 18:12:54 +0000 UTC]

"Coulson is my spirit animal" HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Omg this is wonderful... I can relate so much! I ship 'Superhusbands' before this, but I must say there is definitely truth in it!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

jossujb In reply to Lariekoek [2012-09-03 03:02:03 +0000 UTC]

Coulson seriously is my spirit animal, I feel this strong connection to him xD i mean, it's so easy to be well spoken and cool, but when the thing you love comes up I a conversation... I myself turn into a similar puddle of giddy goo ad Coulson.

Yeah, Superhusbands is quite awesome too. I rather pair everybody, I have't even found any Avengers pair that I would possibly like. But maybe I'm more into Science Bros. And Thorki. Though I like Superfamily with Peter Aprker too! And Clint/Natasha! Clint is so cute <3

Lariekoek In reply to jossujb [2012-09-03 03:19:53 +0000 UTC]

Omg I agree!!! It's rare for me to support a straight couple, but Marvel pulls it off. Tony/Pepper and Clint/Natasha are amazing. I can honestly say that I swoon over them as much as I swoon over my slash ships. And that's quite an achievement!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

jossujb In reply to Lariekoek [2012-09-03 03:32:48 +0000 UTC]

Oh yes, I ship Clint/Natasha and Tony/Pepper like there's no tomorrow. Though it's not that rare to me have a hetero ship, but it is odd that it has some sort of canon base xD
Clint and Natasha are soooo awesome. I like to think that natasha is the cold and cool one and Clint has this big emotional side and eeh they're so good for each other <3

Lariekoek In reply to jossujb [2012-09-03 03:43:32 +0000 UTC]

I know right!!! It's kind of the same with Pepperoni, Pepper takes initiative while Tony makes a mess
I was surprised to find that I completely accepted Natasha as a real character, not just a token chick or eyecandy for the guys. I actually really like her and enjoy watching her on screen, how rare!

jossujb In reply to Lariekoek [2012-09-03 03:54:22 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, even though The Avengers as a whole was quite a big sausage-fest Black Widow was as much of team member than rest of them. Too bad that there we'ret much other females even in the supporting roles, only like agent Hill and Pepper. You'd think that women would be even in the background or something, but no.

But little steps, little steps... I wish there more gender balanced stuff in the sequel. As much as I love my dudes, especially when they're *gorgeous* I would mind having chicks equally around^^

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Lariekoek In reply to jossujb [2012-09-03 03:56:36 +0000 UTC]

Exactly, I agree completely! I like pretty boys on screen but I prefer good characters, and gender makes no difference with that. So I applaud every well developed, interesting female character. If she's cool and relatable, it doesn't even matter what she's (not) wearing anymore!

jossujb In reply to Lariekoek [2012-09-03 04:03:42 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I really like how she had her freak out moment wehn Banner Hulked out, but collecte herself and did her job without being rescued my someone, and I loved how she comforted Clint after he came out of Loki's spell... that's awesome, she really was strong and intepended without being a paper thin. That good. I wish that if they do a movie for her it would just as amazing...for some reason fem characters have managed to get a hold of deacent, realistic characterisation over the media, but yet there's not really movies based on fem characters that don't end up sucking. Just like NChick said.

Lariekoek In reply to jossujb [2012-09-03 04:05:27 +0000 UTC]

She's definitely right. I would love to see a Black Widow movie. I want to know more about her since she's so mysterious, and I know that's the point, but I'm curious! I also like that she's not a ripoff of an existing male character. Seriously that shit is so lame.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

jossujb In reply to Lariekoek [2012-09-03 04:11:16 +0000 UTC]

Yeah yeah, like "She-Hulk" or ridiculous crap like that. Or Batgirl and Batwoman of DC. Well, they're not completele ripoffs, but yeeeah... rather go with good completely origial ones thank you. And there is quite a much of good female superheroes, like Strom and Rogue from the X-Men, it's really just too bad they end up taking the backseat every time. Black Widow-movie should excixts. clint could have a little cameo like he has on Thor^^

Lariekoek In reply to jossujb [2012-09-03 04:15:55 +0000 UTC]

Or like, even more screentime! I neeeed to know their backstory!
Storm and Rogue are awesome indeed, I friggin love X-Men. Also because it's about being yourself and not hiding your abilities. So empowering! _O_

Oh lord when the first X-Men movie came about I shipped Rogue/Wolverine so hard even though she was just a small teenager. I fel like there was slightly some sort of chemistry/jealousy between them, something that was not completey fatherly, but t never went anywhere.

Man, why did I bring this up again, that wound was like all healed and stuff and now I'm craving for Rogue/Wolverine. Damn these conversations xD

Hahahaha I'm sorry! I shipped Charles/Erik sooooo bad, it's so tragic and epic that I felt I could never ever do it any justice. I feel the same about my other Marvel ships, the source material is WAY too good and I wouldn't want to add an unnecessary fanfic or something. That's why I have loads of unfinished work on my pc...

jossujb In reply to Lariekoek [2012-09-03 04:33:04 +0000 UTC]

I ship Charles/Eric too xD I shipped it before all these new fans (hipstermodejossu speaking), I liked them even when theyr were old... especially when they were old actually.

here's always unfinished works to be done, believe me, I have like 12 fics on going right now and nothing seems to proggress.

I have started writing about three huge ideas for novel-sized stories now, and none of them are finished. Before I pass the halfway point, I get scared that it's getting too big and I could never pull it off... >_<

jossujb In reply to Lariekoek [2012-09-03 11:25:43 +0000 UTC]

I usually can't keep the plot intanct for longer than few chapters. Iäm quite good at pulling one-shots together, but for some reason all detais got smashed up and illogical when I think about it on longer terms. I've ruined quite a lot of finely started fics just because I suck.

I'm not kidding, that suit was made to objectify Captain America. It's like tight and somewhat ridiculous and so hot. But I guess it's good balance on all female objectification comic fandoms have had since forever.

Actually I would like that no characters were simply as objects, but little eye-candy of boths sexes is more than fine^^

I just find it kinda funny (and kinda sad) that some men are finding mostly girl-populated side of action movies and movies so repulsive. Y'know, it's not my fault these things are sausage fests, I would love that there were more women involved but that's what we've got so... I'm not gonna apologize for enjoying male form, that's all I'm saying.

I think it's a bit ironic that heterosexual men think it's totally fine that they love staring at women's tits and arses, but if a heterosexual girl wants to ogle a good-looking guy, they think that's totally gross. XD

I guess that females are supposed to like only personalities and men are the only ones who stare at the figure, whn in reality we're all people and are attracted to both aspects. Any guy can be intrigued by fabuously crafted character and love the beaty of character development, wne any girl may be staring just asses. I pck both if you don't mind. A pesonality with little ass on the side. Or ass with little personality on the side?

What on Earth an ass with a little personality?
