hmm, to start i try to keep the color count low with the boldest colors on areas that are going to draw interest. on this one i focused on the blood, the brass and the blue on the salaman. keep at it and i also cycle through a lot of retro 80's tumblrs and pinterests to keep me inspired with bright colors!
