Originally drawn with pen and ink in 1989 when I was 19yrs old, This Beauty and the Beast art was the first one that I did on the theme. it was a pen and ink study done in the holidays after the HSC, to explore what I could do with pen and ink. Though it is ancient art for me, I've included it because of the other Beauty and the Beast art of mine I've shared here recently.Beauty and the Beast B/W Β© and β’ 2006 Jozef Szekeres

I love this! I am a big fan of the 80s tv show - your beast looks like Vincent. Was this meant to be Vincent & Catherine or just any "Beauty & the Beast"? Just wondering. I love all versions of Beauty & Beast and this drawing is amazing! : )

Originally drawn with pen and ink in 1989 when I was 19yrs old, This Beauty and the Beast art was the first one that I did on the theme. It probably has some "Vincent" influence in it, but not with intention. Certainly the "Beauty" in this one is not Catherine.

Thank you. There's a definite inking shape to this work, but her hair is independant of it, thus giving it a unrestrained and free feeling to it. This is an early work of mine, but I feel it has held up well. I do love the Beauty and the Beast Theme.

I found your Beauty and the Beast artwork on a search of DeviantArt. As you can tell, I am a fan of the TV version of Beauty and the Beast.
I am also a member of online fandom that hosts a Winterfest Online event for one week in the middle of January in honor of the show.
We are hoping that you might let us use your piece of art (and any others you might have) in a display of artists (as yet unknown to fandom) at this year's Winterfest to share with other fans of the show.
