these things are the worst to fight in large numbers in halo 3. They're the worst because they mutate and bubble and become thiese scorpion things, which then can mutate into creatures that crawl up on walls and shoot spikes at you. they can really pin you down in the last few levels. if some of those things pin you inside a little cave then some more turn into tanks, unless you have a shotgun, your freaking screwed. shotgun will blow those things back if you hit them in the face, and while they're falling back, youy bunt them in the head and they fall dead... most of the time.
