Cool Halloween image, the leaves look animated, like they're about to turn into bats. Good job on the hair. Lairai made a good point about making sure things flow together, but you may have inadvertently created the illusion of her spinning about. What program do you use?

I added the leaves after reading Lairai’s comment. To add some sort of flow.
Gimp is the only program I use.

Seems a good site, but I'm not very active there.
Also, do you use the Iwarp filter in GIMP?
The Photoshop version is Liquify, I use it a lot to adjust anatomy and what not.

Seems no one is active there, it is not designed for artists to communicate with each other.
For all the faults with DA it is still the best.
I have used Iwarp, played around with it mainly on fabrics. It has a perspective tool I use to adjust anatomy.
Really though I think it is better to avoid those, while they do make things easier to fix it is better to re paint to fix things.
It is more frustrating and that makes you want to try harder to get things right without having to make adjustments.

Thanks, looks like a good site, I took a quick glance and bookmarked it for later.
I like the Liquify tool (and from what I've seen, it's easier to use than Iwarp). It seems like a cheat in a way,
but I spend enough time on my work. I'd rather make a few adjustments than repaint an entire area.
I go back and touch things up with brushes anyway. I think of it as reshaping a clay sculpture.
Plus, I have so many ideas to realize visually I can't keep up. Digital artists are always talking about workflow.
Considering how slow my computer is I use whatever tools I can :]

You are getting better at drawing faces - it takes a really long time to get to a point where you don't need to use reference, but you're getting closer with each drawing

The reference was mainly for concept reasons, lack of ideas.
Redid the face many times so that means a lot.
You always have great insight, the direction of the hair and dress should flow together.
But the dress is moving in the direction she is walking.
Added some blowing leaves to flow with the hair. Not sure yet if I like it.
