Part of a series of images shot at Saffron Kalamazoo, a local Indian Cuisine restaurant.
A local Indian Restaurant had my entire class over after hours to do some food photography practice. It was very informal, and the owners of the restaurant are such wonderful and amazing people! We got to eat everything we took pictures of. If you're ever running through Kalamazoo, I wholeheartedly endorse and recommend Saffron!
The lighting was quite dim, which made getting a decent image quite challenging.
I loved the way this dish looked on the brushed stainless steel counter, but my classmates kept walking in front of the camera while I was trying to take a shot. This is the only one that "survived" so to speak.
