Afric was born in a clan with family but was taken by the Gumm-Gumm army to be use and turn her into a Changling and raise as a spy among Humans and Trolls. However, Afric was able to escape by a smilier of a chance but resulting of her having trama and having cracks on her chest and face and most of her body because of being attack trying to escape. Afric overtime was able in some way to get to trollmarket but had to go a lot of hardship and trouble to get there.

She tried to go to her old clan but shunned her thinking she was a changling spy during the War. So the best place she think she can stay is Trollmarket. Is where she finally has a chance.

Afric was a bright and creative femalr Trolls, Making carved and detailed trolls tattoos and also beautiful gem jewlry and beautiful fabrics for Trolls style. She is the Troll to go to get beautiful jewlry and carved tattoos. And that resulted into meeting a lot of Trolls. Both big, small, strange and dull. She met a lot of characters but the ones she feels close too is Bagdwella and Draal. Who she grown to be very close to and be the one to have a crush on him.

Afric and Draal are very good friends where he at the beginning would get tattoos on his body but now he comes around to talk since Afric is good at names. Which makes her a good ear hander. Afric would give him good avbice. She would tell him to be careful and not to go crazy. However, she also warns him not to do something stupid with the newfound Trollhunters who turn to be Humans.

Bagdwella and Afric are like girl and girl BFF. Like Claire and Mary is. And since Afric is good at listening. She endures a lot of talking with her. But she doesn't mind.

Afric is also very symbathy with Changling because she seen what happens to them and it is terrifying. and she would have become one if she didn't escape!
