This is a work that draws the viewer into it. Very fluid, like seeing reflections in the windows of buildings, with, obviously those angular lines being the building outlines. It's almost like you need to jump into the center of this piece to understand it. I haven't quite figured it out in my mind yet. Am trying to understand the title, which I think I understand but then am not so sure that's it for me. It's beautiful Juanilla on the surface but it's more than that. Probably need to live with this one a little longer before really understanding it. Any insights from you?

The titles I give to my works are always inspired from the mood and the suggestion of forms and colours which capture my feelings.
I think that the term "Abysses" has been suggested from the different range of blue I've used; under the surface of the ocean, of the sea, thereΒ are different effects produced fromΒ light, so, I think, this could be the main reason of my choice. But there are always incredible surprises in the depths...like the colourful animated world in the abysses.
An interpretation of the interpretation: the surface is often superficiality, the deepest knowledge reveals the shadows of an incredible richness!
