— Succubus 3D Character WIP

Hi guys,
I just want to show you what I'm working on, but I want to tell you first a short history about it and about me. It's the first thing I do with the intention to actually finish it completely using ZBrush.
I started doing 3d like 7 or 8 years ago, I learned maya with a demo version of the program that came in the Unreal Tournament 2003, and started working with some guys in my city in a... lets say amateur game developer team as 3d artist. Not exactly working, none of us got money from it, it was just a way to learn ones with the helps of the other.
At that time I had already studying computer science in the university (Seville, Spain) and I use to do both things, I began to learn programming and math and all that stuff you learn as an engineer but I continued working with my group whenever i had time for it. In fact 3d was what interested me the most.
My knowledge of 3ds max and scripting got me a job in the game industry, but it was mainly as a programmer, not exactly game or 3d programmer because most of what I was things like menus, and panels and all that kind of easy-boring stuff. I didn't really liked it. I was mostly interested in 3D but since... well, I was able to finish my degree and proved that i was at least a decent programmer and in fact i was needed playing this role I never was allowed to prove my skill as 3d artist there.
I decided that I wanted to become a 3d artist, that it really was what I wanted the most. Yeah, I got my computer science degree, but Ive never enjoyed it. Its just not for me. So I quited this company I was working with ,and with the money I saved and the social asistance I get from the government for having loose my job I pay the bills while I also try to train myself with the new tools (Zbrush) and got back with my old amateur video game team, that by now has become a little company. Im working again with them as 3d artist. They dont have enough budget to pay me but at least it's good exercise for practicing again.
So like 3 month has passed since then, I've been sketching a lot, painting with the wacom and trying to study as much as I can human anatomy, painting techniques and all the stuff. In the end, like a month ago, I started learning zbrush and I've been trying to incorporate it into my workflow. But I've never made a full character before in Zbrush and I thought it would be great for my portfolio. So here it is, its based on the very first full human model I did in Maya like 7 years ago, my first character. I thought It would be a great idea to remake it after so many years. Voilá!
