Description
Sans meet baby Papyrus.You can see it just like young Sans meeting his new brother who just born.
In my vision, it's Sans who discovered his freshly newborn son, Papyrus.
Sans, a smart young skeleton, meet a hothead teenager fish monster a little younger in a party.
They do it for the first time... Aaaaaaand Undyne is pregnant.
Monsters being very few, Undyne must keep the baby.
She obliged, but she refused to raised the baby.
Sans take the responsability when the baby was born.
It was love at first sight.
Sans raised Papyrus, but being himself rather young, he have troubles to manage his lessons, his work, and a baby.
His boss, Dr. W.D.Gaster, accepted to take them under his wing.
Officially, Sans and Papyrus are his sons, by adoption.
But in reality Gaster is the caretaker of the other two skeletons. Giving to Sans and Papyrus a roof on their head, feed them and dress them, without Sans having to worried about it.
The only counterpart is to Sans to be part of Gaster experiments.

Hmmmm You can apply for being the baby-sitter, but I don't think Sans will agreed if you just want to take his baby and never come back.

Fufufufu.
Papyrus is half fish, but he have more inherite from Sans.
Papyrus is so tall later because of his mother.
The Gaster Blasters aren't inherite because it's not natural magic, Gaster have done an experiment on Sans to give him that power.
And that was after Papyrus' birth.
So no. No Gaster Blasters for Papyrus.
And no real spears neither.
But Papyrus have sharper bones than Sans and can shape them differently than actual bones... It just not occure to him he can do that until Undyne accept to train him.
(She's really akward with Papyrus because she knows he's her son).
For the half fish thingy, Papyrus is more at ease with water than Sans.
Sans is a boulder in water. Papyrus can actually float and swim.
But being both skeletons, they don't need to breath.
So, the lie about Papyrus being Sans' brother is not busted, even if our favourite tall skeleton have some things inherite from his fish mother.
