Do you mean that I have my own style and vision of the characters? As you know, it's just sometimes difficult for me to translate comments in English ..Β
Thank you!

Wow! I never knew YOU liked "CatDog". Let alone draw them. Is this your first time drawing them?

In fact, my very first drawing was made in 2014:Β
Yes, I really loved and still love this show. It evokes a lot of pleasant memories. I love this type of cartoon! Humor and traditional animation .. that's good. I also like Β some other cartoons from Nickelodeon. Such as "Hey Arnold", Sponge Bob, and .. Jimmy Neutron. All this has a special place in my heart.
But you are right, I really rarely paint them. I dΠΎn't know why. I very rarely get inspired to do more with CatDog.

Well, there is a CatDog fan fiction entitled "A Tragedy at Hand" (not written by me), and yes it is sad, but I find it to be a good fan fiction. Perhaps when you have free time, I'll send you the link. I hope to see more of your works down the line when possible. Also, What do you like most about traditional animation? I mean, I'm sure it can also be pulled off digitally with a tablet too.

Unfortunately, it will be difficult for me to read this fan story in English. Translating does not always help. Therefore, I just can not read.
Hmm .. interesting, but a difficult question. It's hard for me to answer it in English, but I'll try. You know, personally for me the traditional animation looks more... cozy. If you can change that word. Perhaps this is related to childhood memories, and when I see a traditional cartoon I feel warmly at heart. Of course, I've seen many 3D cartoons, but only a few have remained in my heart. I think that I will never be able to come to terms with such a huge abundance of 3D cartoons today.
But of course, digitally, a show like CatDog would look good too, I think. But the main thing for me is the design of the characters. I really love the design of the nineties and early 2000s, but then something changed. And the modern design of the characters in the animation is not close to me. With rare exceptions.
I hope I was able to answer your question and you understood me.

That's cause todays modern cartoons are more "cookie cutter" in design, and don't have a lot of shape and flow to them. I think you did a pretty good job answering my question, though it was a bit hard to grasp here and there, but I feel I've gotten the jist of the whole thing.
