Fractaling a real picture?

It's no "real" ... all of it is a fractal

well it was when i did it, trust me. i had a beautiful white rose that i was trying to render and i saved--or thought i saved--the bump and parameter but never did. plus it took forever for it to render. now that i know that this is normal i need to try this again, but i don't think i brought my manual that i printed out with me when i moved. ah well, i believe i have the files saved anyways.

i know right? when i tried to find it again the only thing that popped up was the original file untransformed, which pissed me off. after that i gave up on incendia. i do know that i have the pdf file of the manual in one of my flash drives. so whenever you're ready profesora.....

Are you filing the parameters and the image inside the file correspondent into Incendia?. I don't understand what another thing can be ...

Tell me, step by step, what are you doing when you open your Incendia screen, please

i only toyed with it 1nce, and that was around the time i first got my laptop out of the repair shop. i was following the manual and i guess to make sure while it was rendering (and before) i saved the bump and parameter files, but i can't remember which i did first. then i stopped the rendering process after it took too long and i decided to try and continue later. then when i looked for the file and opened it it showed the fractal it originally was before i transformed it, which pissed me off, so i gave up and never toyed with it. this was waaaaaaaaaay before i knew about how incendia takes days to render and other things.

Buf ... I only can think ... why don't you try to "save buffers"?. With this, you'd keep your fractal in the same situation you left it rendering...

ThAT'S what it was called--buffers! i did do that, both that and parameters! for some reason it never saved the final transformation.

Well .. they save the "state" of the fractal at the moment you push "save", but, probably, you have to continue rendereing ...

man incendia rocks! you just might make me a converter from apophysis if it wasn't for the endless library of gradients on apo and the animation factor as well as seeing your fractals being transformed right in front of you not to mention the lenghty render time that incendia has as well as how confusing it is to try to save the parameters and bump not to mention try to create a transformation.

Well: you can use Apo and Incendia too: You must "save parameters" (.par extension) when your Incendia fractal is rendering, so you can "load parameters" when you want to "rescue" the dates that you put in your fractal. You "save bitmap" for having your image.

Try the transformations first of all:before you put de basehape, when you just choose the fractal base. It's no difficult, I asure you

Very Nice Is there an .stl library from where we can import meshes? Or a resource for them somewhere?

Juniae In reply to Capstoned [2009-11-02 02:01:34 +0000 UTC]

There are softwere for importing and webs with stl free models, which are what I was looking for:

I found two :Here where you must to join for downloading

And Here

I scanned them with my pc and I don't found virus, but take care.
