Somehow, the scan looks horrendous. Blah.
You can clearly see just how much I used my white-out pen.
I fail so, so much at drawing nice mouths.
AND AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE TOP-LEFT CORNER, 672 TIMES 702 APPARENTLY EQUALS 269. I MEAN IT'S JUST COMMON SENSE. No, those are just numbers I had to write down. The size of the picture I'm doing in MS Paint.

Simply a few off-the-top-of-my-noggin concept ideas for my OC, the Jester. Only ideas; much will probably change as I work on him.

So as you can obviously see here, Jester is in fact not a human being nor creature of any kind, but a living puppet. Marionette, to be precise. He was inspired halfly by my sudden strange desire to make a jester character, halfly by my desire to make a fantasy character, and probably a little by my obsession with Banette. These percentages don't have to add up because I'm cool like that derp.
The Jester and some others were enchanted by a mysterious somebody but somehow ended up in the hands of a redneck idiot named Carter who writes rather good plays but otherwise has the IQ of a teaspoon. The group of puppets decided to just stay quiet and go with the flow, because Carter is the kind of guy who destroys what scares him, and... enchanted puppets do normally scare people, judging by all the horror movies out there about them. Besides, going out on their own would surely be the death of them, especially since they didn't know crap about the world. So the marionettes play dead by day and screw around by night. All they need to look out for at night is the janitor.
Until Carter goes out of business.

So so far, on Jester's character: a puppet jester whose jokes mostly stink. (Don't tell him I said that though.) If he finds a pun, he will use it, no matter how annoying it is. His main jokes start with "Knock knock." He can't juggle, and that time he slipped on the banana peel and ended up with a wastebasket on his head? That was completely by accident. It doesn't mean he can't be funny, he often IS, he just can't tell the difference between good humor and bad humor. He's one of the nicer guys, though, even if he's not popular amongst the rest of the crew. He seems to be very into those plays Carter hosts. Unlike the other jester marionette (le gasp!) he does not see a difference between jesters and clowns, and so he does not share the other jester's views. Yes. I'm being annoyingly vague, aren't I?
