I also keep a look out for cosmetic eyelashes marked down. I real pair of lashes can lash 2 dolls. I use small nail trimming scissors to trim the lashes down.

I want to make a few suggestions:
First, I believe you could use craft or PVC glue for the whole process. The glue holding the lashes in place might form a better bond with the glue holding the lashes to the resin if the two are the same type of glue.
Second, I believe that you could eliminate the paper entirely and perhaps use wax paper to prevent the glue sticking.
Third, thank you for this idea. I'm definitely going to have to try it.
