Theme:
Gunslingers and time manipulating magical girls from popular anime series. They will traverse through time no matter how much they have to repeat their actions to achieve their goals of saving loved ones. Failures won't diminish their determination and they will take down any possible hindrance even if it makes them look antagonistic to other people.

Connections:
• Travelled back into the past countless times to prevent the deaths of their loved ones who are the main protagonist (Madoka and Shido) but they always fail miserably. When our main protagonist learned about their sacrifices, they took actions in helping them to solve their endless the dilemma (Madoka accepting her fate in stopping the Walpurgisnacht and becoming the sole savior of every witches in all of existence / Shido alongside every spirits and Ratatoskr, is taking the lead against the war with DEM industries). They learned that their problems is much more achievable to overcome with the help of other people rather than taking everything for themselves.

• They are an outcasts due to being mysterious and antagonistic towards everyone and that usually results in them fighting with their own kinds. Also they rather work in solitude in accomplishing their goals.

• Their kind (Magical Girls and Spirits) have a dark and mindless form whenever they fall into despair (Witch form and Inverse state).

• Have an affiliation with an entity that turns ordinary girls into a magical being by making a contract with them (Kyubey and Spirit of Origin). These entities promised them that they will become heroes when they accepted their contract and fight creatures that threatens their world (Witches and Proto-Spirits). But later on they learned that what they are all fighting for amounts nothing as the creatures that they are destroying for the sake of peace are their own kinds and what they will eventually become if they fall into despair.

• When their friends was killed (Madoka and Sawa). They vowed to avenge them by going back into time to prevent them to sign on the contracts against the entities that tricked them into becoming a magical girl/spirit (Kyubey and Spirit of Origin).

• Uses a circular accessories that gives them the ability to manipulate time (Shield and Zaphkiel).

• They were given a miniature object that is the source of their power (Soul Gem and Sephira Crystal) and it is basically their life force as they will die if it has been destroyed.

• Has to regularly replenish their energy in a specific way and they would vanish if they ran out of power (Homura has to collect witch's grief seed while Kurumi has to replenish her time by absorbing other people's lifetime).

• Their series debuted in anime of close times around early of 2010s+.

Battle Potential:
The battle scenario would start in a city where Homura is hunting Kyubey and found him with Kurumi who is caressing the cat very fondly. She shot it down from a far which startled Kurumi and looked at where Homura's presence is. Kurumi is very furious and is zooming through her location and Homura readies to defend herself.

The fight would mostly be long range with having a shootout against each other although there could be a bit of close combat with bashing their guns or smacking each other bare handed. Showcasing their time manipulation as well with Homura deliberately affecting reality when stopping time while Kurumi having to land her blows to implement her time powers but also showing precognition with past and future visions. They could also try traversing through time only to learn that they can both do it. They also have abilities unique to them like Homura wielding multiple guns, ammunitions and vehicles and blasting it through Kurumi who would counter with her own explosions with spacequake, create an army of clones and manipulate shadow to phase through her surroundings. The final phase of this fight would include their ability to warp reality with Homura's witch form which can also create an army to counter the number of her enemy while Kurumi has second angel, rasiel which aside from reality warping is it also has other varied abilities.

Animation would be sprites.

Debate Potential:
The idea for this matchup would be their base versions only so it would be very close and they have comparable stats so it's the difference with their abilities and fighting styles that will determine the winner of this matchup. But if Homura is given her full potential which is her devil entity then the winner would be obviously fall on her side but there could still be a chance for Kurumi if she's given a composite form as well like including her game versions as their is an argument made for her that goes higher although the claims seems unverified as of the writing of this text.
