I enjoyed working on this concept. The art is obviously not new - the original is in my gallery - but the cover design itself is new. I wanted something cleaner and something that I felt was not a bunch of words slammed together on a page. This wasn't exactly the best art to try this with but overall I think it worked out pretty well. I hoping to have this chapter off to print Monday. I don't think it's going to happen.StarXDestiny

I <3 the simplicity of the cover layout. You're totally right with not wanting to beat people over the head with "ZOMG COMIK" text. This has a nice laid-back coolness that goes well with the art.

Awesome, and I love how Shades' tatoos came out.
The shading's also good overall, but the highlights on Juno's face look odd. Her right cheek just has this random band of light over it that looks out of place with the rest of the shading.

I know - I've always hated that about this pinup but I've never really had time to go in and fix it. But yeah, I know about that one and hopefully I'll have time to fix it someday.

Looks pretty good, although...Juno's cheek does look a tad too...shiny? Perhaps you could tone it down slightly so it's a bit more like her forehead and stuff?

Oddly no one pointed out the shininess on the first dA submission and I couldn't figure out what was wrong until later. Now I just don't have the time to go in a fix it. That and being unable to find the original paint in layers on the computer. :/ But someday! I'll fix it.

I like it too. =B Well, good luck with finding the layers. XD If you can't, though, and when you have time, could always just do a 'touch up' by adding a layer over the piece then doing what you can with that. I know I've had to do it a few times with ones I couldn't find the layered versions of. =/
