Description Commission completed at Fanime 2009 for my good ol' friend who always comes back every year XD

Linalee is one of my favorite female characters in D.Gray-Man. I haven't watched any Soul Eater, but I plan to after looking at some screenshots

Finally! I had been wondering why no one thought of drawing Soul Eater and D Grey Man crossover art until I find this.

This is amazing. I love the dynamics of the poses!

If only I could afford Copic *sniff* they're twice as expensive as Prismacolors are though...

Thank you!

Yeah, Copics are pricey @_@ I had to collect them over a period of time. XD you know though, I've gotten very close results with Prismacolors - it all takes practice, all the same. :3

I'm still trying to practice with Prismacolors. I only used copics for a manga project I did for my senior project, and even then could only afford the black and gray scale copics. But at least with Prismacolors I get the ever handy employee discount at where I work ^.^ so I'm able to afford those more.

I think the key with markers is to just find your coloring style with them. Some people like to take it slow and layer a lot, and others are more dynamic with their strokes. I'd say just try out a wide variety of things, and eventually they'll become easier to work with. ^O^

Ultimately, I think as long as you find something you use well, it doesn't matter what it is, whether it be Copics or Prismas or whatever~ and if you have a discount, even better

I tend to switch out every now and then. It just depends on what look I'm aiming to achieve... but so far, Prismacolor are my favorite brand to work with. I like the feel better than the copics that I used for the senior project. For me I like how bold the Prismacolor are, and yet I can blend easily if I want to. I can also erase pencil marks easier with them to make it look like I have no lines on my art.

But yes, each to their own
