i changed the title yet again ;DD: I had to redo this. Watercolours are so hard to control with one brush D:
I think I could've done a lot better ifΒ I had only checked the end date for the contest. Which is in October.
I didn't like how my first one turned out so I redid it ;w;
Anyway, this is my contest entry for AnimeContestGalore 's Limited Colour contest, where you can only use one colour for the whole thing ;D I chose blue after the journal I made ages ago asking people what their favourite colour was...and blue was the most popular ~
This is my revamped version of my OC Ayano....I finally drew her again XD Her hand is supposed to be holding a dragonfly but I don't think you can really see ;o;
This looks more like a sketch doodle o_o But my 2nd time using watercolours and I am happy with it ;D
*used watercolours for everything, except for lineart, which I did with a blueΒ pen ;D

No, but, seriously you always do an amazing job and have no reason to doubt yourself at all! The picture is of professional quality and, of course, you can clearly see the dragonfly on her hand. I understand that you must be like me and see every little flaw in what you make and also not quite understand the skill you possess. I eventually realized one fact: everyone makes mistakes. It helped me gain a little more confidence in my own talent.

Yes, as soon as you begin to remove the doubt, your confidence levels should rise to new heights! I rarely ever take note of minor mistakes because there really isn't any way to be perfect but you can be the best you can be.
And continue down the path of the artist because you have a gift; one that should be expressed and shared with the world!
