I had to pay another visit to that lovely stream. The lighting was b-e-a-utiful!Some cropping, sharpening, and color tones adjusting done.

This looks great!! The colors and the lighting in the photo is good. Nice contrast too. But i think you could've used a larger F number to create a wider focus.

I think the Hawaiian is completely wrong. I like how the middle crystalline area is sharper than the rest, and I like how close to the water I feel when I look at it. I thought it was mud initially, is it actually frozen? Hard to tell. Looks like verglas. I like this a lot. Well done.

I think it dosen't show enough detail and is a little blurry. I couldn't tell what it was at first glance.

Do you mean it's blurry at the object(s) on which I've focused? Or do you not like the narrow depth of field?
If you couldn't tell what it was at the first glance, I blame the fact that you live in the U.S.

I don't live in the mainland U.S. so don't be so quick to judge. But now I can see why you use such a narrow depth of field apperantly that is your own view life. I am so sorry. I did not mean to hurt your feelings but I thought the photo was not as sharply focused as it could be nor the subject clearly defined. It should be in my oppinion be easyier to make out for some one like me from the "U.S." I did not realise that your pictures were only for people that are not from the U.S.
Because if that is the fact then you are not a friend of photography.

Woah, easy. The U.S. thing was a joke. I just thought maybe where you live, such ice/snow structures aren't something you see every winter.
So your critique basically boils down to that the focus isn't sharp enough? I'm just interested in knowing where to improve.

I forgive you I am from Hawaii. Yeah that is U. S. I have only seen snow once in my life. So I guess you are correct. And please for people that have never seen snow I would have been nice to see a tiny bit more of the subject if you please? I like pictures of ice crystals
