ha ha well it is done very carefully! I try to do it from the top down or the bottom up! But any leftover powder or smears can usually be lifted off with an eraser.

hehe ah ok.
I get smudges on the paper from my pencil drawings lol. I dont dare use chalk :/ I'm trying to find a good media to use though. Markets would probably be a disaster too lol

Yes smudges are a problem. If you get them from wiping away eraser crud, you could get an art bush and sweep them away, no smudges. Also, "plastic" or kneadable erasers work very well, and they do wonders for charcoal drawings too!

I get them from laying my head across the drawing as I work on it lol. but yes those are great suggestions. Thanks a bundle! I've been thinking about getting one of those kneadable ones (if I can find one)

Thats a funny reason for smudges! Look at an art store or Michaels. You will surely find one there. Thanks for checking the picture out. Best of luck with your future drawings!
