This is my dragonsona, Scald's new ref. sheet. I added more detailed information about her and added a full backstory about her parents and her early years.

Bio: Scald's mother, Auburn, was returning to the Sky Kingdom with her troop after scouting the Bay of a Thousand Scales when they were ambushed by rival SandWings. Auburn was injured in the fight and abandoned by her troop as they pursued the SandWings. Bleeding out, but not poisoned, Auburn lay on the shore where she was found by Cobalt, a lowly SeaWing who was sentenced to be on constant patrol of the outer rim of the Kingdom of the Sea. Cobalt, feeling sorry for the female SkyWing, gained her trust and slowly nursed her back to health. Through the time they've been together they've formed a close bond and soon fell in love. They both decided that they would leave their tribes to be together and even start a family. They got their wish when Auburn produced an egg; a year later that egg hatched into a healthy hybrid dragonet. Auburn wanted to call her Scorch while Cobalt wanted to call her Boil. After days of arguing they settled with Scald. The small family was happy, but that happiness didn't last long. A year after Scald's hatching, a patrolling SeaWing spotted the family and reported to Queen Coral who managed to get the message to Queen Scarlet. Before the soldiers from each tribe came, Scald's parents told her to hide in the jungle. After she did, the SkyWing and SeaWing soldiers arrived, Vermillion and Shark in the lead. Auburn and Cobalt were surrounded, and by the orders of the queens, both were killed at once. Horrified, Scald ran and hid in the jungle, the tribes were never able to find her. Scald lived in the jungle for three years before she found the portal to the SandWing Kingdom. There, she met Black Mamba (who was 12 at the time) and the older hybrid adopted Scald as her daughter. The two became inseparable. The other citizens of the OutWings community call Scald "Mamba's red shadow."

Appearance: Her scales are a light, almost pink, red with dark red head and spine scales. She has a few dark blue-green scales on her head. Her underbelly is a light yellow, her horns and spines are dark blue-grey, her fin is light blue-grey and she has both turquoise and pink glow-in-the-dark patterns. Her wings webbing are teal-colored and her eyes are light blue. She has no visible scars whatsoever.

Personality: Happy, optimistic, talkative, adventurous, loyal, and slightly clingy. Mamba calls her "my little ray of sunshine" while other call her "Mamba's red shadow." Scald doesn't remember much about her parents or what happened to them, which is probably the main reason why she's so happy all the time. She sometimes annoys the other members of the OutWings, but more often than not she just somehow spreads happiness through the other dragons. You'll mostly find her right by Black Mamba's side earning her the nicknames "Red Shadow" and "Princess."

Abilities: Scald can hold her breath up to three hours, is an exceptional swimmer and flier, her scales glow in the dark, and she can breathe a dangerous steam (though it hurts her to do so. She only uses it when absolutely necessary). If concentrated and powerful enough, the steam can go from just a little cloud puff to a full on beam of steam (like a Hydro Pump or Hyper Beam).

Disabilities: Scald cannot see in the dark and is not a good fighter. The only thing dangerous about her is her steam breath, but she doesn't even use it.
