I finally got around with drawing a stand-alone picture of my cartoon version of Amber the Illiop. In my fan-verse, she becomes one of Teddy Ruxpin's new allies, after the unfortunate passing of Newton Gimmick (he died from old age, but only peacefully in his sleep). Amber doesn't remember much of her past, but she does remember that her father was tragically killed many years ago during a war, and her mother had accidentally orphaned her. Amber had to live with a family of Grunges for a while (not the same Grunges that Teddy met in the episodes "The Surf Grunges" or "Guests of the Grunges", but a different group of Grunges who may have lived in secrecy). At the age of 16, Amber had eventually grown tired of living with Grunges, so she went out to find her family in Rilonia. Amber did not find her mother, sadly, but she did meet Teddy and his friends, who had just returned to Rilonia after the events of the original series. Teddy welcomed her into the group, and she was introduced to his friends Grubby and Gimmick, but she only saw the latter for one day before he sadly passed away the night after.

Now, in ToonWorld, Amber travels with Teddy as one of his new allies, and she eventually becomes his girlfriend. Crossover-wise, Amber was afraid of Melmacians at first, as she grew up thinking that all Melmacians were bad monsters who ate cats and tortured Illiops (the latter sounds silly, right?). She did not think there were any good Melmacians until she and Teddy met the Trio (Skip, Gordon, and Rick), who told them that although they did eat cats, Melmacians do not actually torture Illiops. Thank goodness for that.

Personality-wise, Amber is fearful and cautious, but she's also very friendly and caring.

I hope you like my version of Amber. I apologize if her backstory may be imperfect. It was only my attempt at making up lore for her.
