Excellent.Β  I did wonder about the perspective:Β  should the rings appear narrower closer to the horizon?Β  Our Moon does not appear to do so, but you never know.Β Β  I do like the way the starlight diffuses through the rings and the increased haze at the horizon.

Thank you!
The narrowing of the rings can be seen at the equatorial areas of the planet. This setting takes place closer to the poles where angle towards the rings minimizes the perspective effect on the rings.

This is definitely my favorite of your recent pieces. Β I think it's the combination of the binary suns and rings - just so many lighting wonders.

And not not even a plane wing ruining the view. Lucky you!

The clouds are nice and subtle and probably more true to how gas giant clouds would look closer in too. It's hard avoiding the typical supercell formation sticking out above the rest in the name of making it look more dynamic and cool, something I'd still do even now knowing that fact These long furrows of clouds just seem more realistic and it makes me wonder if Cassini is going to show us anything good soon because it's due to head in towards Saturn itself. Hopefully getting pictures of its cloud-bands close enough for them to show some of their altitude variations. I actually thought this was a depiction of that at first until I saw the two suns.

Your paintings are so beautiful. Any chance you could share higher resolution versions some time?

Hi Justinas. I really like those rings. The lighting is quite interesting and otherworldy. I think the rings and the lighting are the highlights of your drawing.Β

Hey Thank you, I tried to keep the landscape very simple so i could lock whole attention on back-lit rings.

But is it a high-fidelity 78 or a long-playing 33 ('cause nobody put multiple tracks on a 45)?

Lovely art, really great atmospheric and scattering effects

I think it's long-playing 33 with continuous planet echo sound (like sounds of Jupiter Voyager recorded)
Thank you!

Very cool! I like the idea of it being a kind of planetary-scale Voyager recording!

Thank you.
I wanted to try a little bit more simplistic landscape.
