Description
Just a random story I came up with yesterday.Io lives in the desert and scavenges the nearby ruins for some treasures he can sell later at the market. One night a weird storm lights the sky. But it wasn't a storm, more like a sky fight, with projectiles flying left and right. Finally a huge one crashes in the area nearby, and then it's quiet.
Io grabs his lantern and runs over to the place, only to find a dead person lying in the middle of a crater.
Moving closer was a bad idea - the seemingly "dead" body moved it's hand and drained some energy from him. Drained, he falls unconscious.
A while later he wakes up in his own bed, and what happened ealier seems like it was just a bad dream, until he notices the mysterious person in his room.
Io's defensive at first, but the person doesn't want to harm him. It opens one of Io's books, and points at a picture on the page. A picture of "Irie", a divine being from some ancient scriptures he was studying...
Seems like Io found himself a celestial friend.
