" As I moved through my life as a statue and later as a musician, I started to understand:
There’s a difference between wanting to be looked at and wanting to be seen.
When you are looked at, your eyes can be closed. You suck energy, you steal the spotlight.
When you are seen, your eyes must be open, and you are seeing and recognizing your witness.
You accept energy and you generate energy. You create light.
One is exhibitionism, the other is connection.
Not everybody wants to be looked at.

I'm struggling to get my head around your words. Your description of 'sucking in light' as opposed to generating it makes me think of the difference between introverts and extroverts. Are all those celebrities 'looked at' or 'seen' - and which do they want?

i think we all want someone who can really look deep down into
ourselves , but once it happens , you (i) avoid the person the most .
i do .It's something to add in your wishlist but ,i am not sure if one

Very true.
I think a lot of people prefer to be looked at - they crave that attention, that acknowledgement, without the exposure and vulnerability that comes with being seen. Yet, after a while, just being looked at, without anyone ever seeing beyond the surface, all of them blind to those inner depths; it makes you feel invisible - even more so than if no one was looking at all.
