Someone's been watching Rurouni Kenshin lately, that it has.

Well-known fact: Kenshin used to be the legendary Hitokiri Battousai, feared by every man during the Bakumatsu. But have you ever wondered how he actually fights that Battousai half of himself sometimes? Those situations when he somehow exudes that deadly aura of the once fearsome manslayer without even resolving to submitting to it?

I actually like to think that Battousai has a manifestation of his own, like their contrast is so great that Kenshin could even possibly have a split personality, or a doppleganger. I know it's a bit silly, but I'd like to think Battousai, or the evil Kenshin inside is persistently yet gently tempting the good Kenshin to give in to his manslayer nature should the situation turns desperate.

And thus you see Battousai here with a smirk, so unlike him at all, and Kenshin still standing his ground on remaining a rurouni.
