absolutely stunning! ok so after watching the speedpaint lemme try to see if this is correct:
you sketch,
then flat color
and shade
all on different layers, then you merge them all and begin painting on top?
overall this looks absolutely beautiful and you earned a sub on YT and dA as well <3 loved watching the process keep up the great work
(also I have been meaning to start speedpaints, and I was wondering if you had any advice for recording/editing because I am lost).

Yep! That's usually my painting style, I paint mostly on one layer, but I let myself add more in case I'm afraid of messing something up!
Oh sure! Here are some advice I can give:
- I record with OBS Studio but that's a preference, use any software that you like best. These days it's best to record in HD (1280x720 or 1920x1080 resolution) to show the most detail in your drawing
- Try to find the right length for your videos - long enough to show most of your drawing process but short enough to keep the viewer interested/not skip ahead
- I tend to take many breaks while recording so I have to cut out a lot of long pauses/web browsing/ any other unnecessary stuff that's not working on the artwork. It might be a bit tedious but it's worth it for having an uninterrupted flow to your speedpaint
- Totally optional but I personally like to make the music match with the feel of the drawing to give it a certain "mood". I just like having the video tie in with the artwork so it can be harmonious and work well as one
I actually might make a video someday with some other tips! Perhaps in the future when I get better at these haha. Thank you very much though!! I appreciate your kind words aah, it made my day <333

I'm glad it helps!! <3
I use a program called Davinci Resolve, it's free but can be harder to get used to if you're new to editing aha. For making simple speedpaints tho it definitely does the job!
