It's been a while since I updated here eh?
It's still summer, and those who followed me on tumblr know what I did all this time. My misadventures in applying for universities are depicted here and here if anyone's interested .
But let's not talk about the negative stuff. How about my newest animated obsession?
Anyone heard of Dude that's my ghost? It's a short 2013 British-French animated show that didn't last really long due to poor receptions (I guess) and it never even aired in USA. Kinda like with Detentionaire, only Det actually managed to last for few years and got at least four seasons out of its planned eight. But regarding the genre and story it's nothing like Det; DTMG is mainly a plotless slice-of-life series about Spencer Wright, a 14 y.o. aspiring filmmaker, and Billy Joe Cobra, a dead returned-as-a-ghost rock/popstar who happens to be Spencer's distant cousin. Together they have fun adventures around their calefornian neighbourhood and wreck typical ghostly chaos because of Billy's antics. It's not a really deep or exceptional show, but it's very charming and it's got a brotherly-type dynamics in focus! I live for shit like that! (blame Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn for my love of nice 'bromance') If you're into Beverly Hills-like aesthetic, adorable main characters and interesting relationships then check it out! Give this baby love pls our fandom is so small and still ;;{
I really dig drawing Billy alive and doing some of his concerts. He's such a diva! I love designing outfits for him, but this one was taken from the show itself. If you liked this, please don't forget to comment your thoughts and criticism
