Jamie “James” Cailean – is the farmers' son from Trotterville, Annika’s peer and trustful friend; equus – Percy. Jamie comes from a family of goat and sheep breeders, Ira and Ruaidhri “Rory”, and has a younger sister Mairi. Like most trottervillians, James is an affable, open-minded and sociable guy with a streak of innocent curiousity and foxery; he often lets his fiery redhead personality out and acts stubborn when he doesn't get what he wants or somebody questions him. Although his jealous, possesive and a bit greedy nature may seem repellent, when it comes to helping out people or standing by friends' side in time of need you won’t find a better companion, – friendly James values friendship and companionship more than anything and is especially good in teamwork. Despite having a reputation of naive simpleton James proves to be practical, reasonable, hard-working and diligent boy probably due to being raised on the ever-busy farm; he never puts out work for other times and is not prone to shirking. Being an aspiring young breeder and horses expert, he bears much knowledge and wisdom regarding animals and cattle: herding goats or taking care of birds, there is no unknown or insufficiently explored activity to him on a farm; his trusty equus Percy knows it not by hearsay. Being raised together roughly at the same time, these loyal friends prefer working together in a team consisting only of them two and support each other in any way they can, - calm and reasonable Percy cools his master’s fiery temper down and often helps him holding burning emotions back. Among other people James seems to care especially deep for Annika, and she considers him her most understanding companion, besides Secret; despite ocassionally argueing over things, as their points of view don’t always match, James and Annika have probably the strongest bond out of all (human) characters.
Trivia:
- Loves goats and sheep as much as he does horses.
- Is responsive and supportive to the point of putting happiness of others in front what often lefts him worrying too much of surrounding him people and too little of himself. He rarely questions if he should sacrifice something to others and puts his greediness aside easily especially if he doesn't necessary need something.
- However unlike Annika or Verity, James is pretty possessive of things he finds worth of and doesn't especially like sharing anything materialistic - but time and help devoted to others are totally different things.
- Speaks with strong Scottish accent.
Perciphale “Percy” – is a hard-working cob and James’ loyal equus; ability – rock/stone controlling. Being tough and strong stallion he is, Percy seems melancholy calm and impassive most of the time, and thus composes his master’s impulsive character: he is modest, a bit shy and worldly wise and is naturally good at calming everyone down in various tense situations. Choosing his words wisely, Percy is mostly silent and doesn’t talk much like his master, thinking that actions speak better than words, but knows how to speak so everyone around would listen, - he precisely seems to know what exactly to say in any life scenario.
- Is a bad racer, but is extremely strong and enduring.
- Sometimes gets his mane clipped/trimmed, it is naturally rather long.
- His conformation is based on numerous draught horse breeds, mostly cross of Irish cobs and Irish draughts .
-------------------------------------"I was born with a bow in my hands, almost got eaten by a swamp crocodile four times in my life, I have four annoying sisters AND ride a mare. You really think you intimidate me?"

Verity Taraghur – is a 12 y/o dryan girl from Ephaba and Annika’s loyal friend; equus – Fawna. Wild-hearted Verity was born in Ephaba, the swamp-located colony of tribal people – dryans, of a big and hospitable family of Taraghurs: mother Ava, father Malik, the older sister Danae and younger triplets Odera, Alba and Dersu. Like most locals, Verity was taught to use a bow from a very young age and is an excellent archer due to hard training. Verity proves to be a highly secretive, incredulous but quick-thinking girl who has spent all her childhood prowling unpredictable dangerous swamps and woods; she is tacticaly smart and strong-minded due to that and got used to pay attention to small details like a real huntress. Verity claims to see things hidden from most humans eyes and understands 'nature's language'. Despite that, she's a lot more open to the world around while being left alone, as she mostly appears quiet and... awkward in public. She is not particularly good at socializing, as it can be understood just by looking at her grumpy expression when she has to spend time around people. Verity is a lone wolf: her distrust of others made her careful and suspicious with people as well as unapproachable, although she is known for her merciful nature towards the living creatures. Regardless of her name, Verity is a 'skilled' liar and trickster who just loves messing with everyone else's minds. She's prone to disguising the truth, what constantly opposes her against plain-spoken and honest James, although they agree to peacefully work together under Annika’s command. For their only true human friend's well-being, they are ready to take their differences aside.
Trivia:
- Unlike open-hearted and generous James, Verity doesn't put well-being of others in front of hers and mostly thinks of her own happines and safety. She isn't greedy because she doesn't get attached to materialistic things but isn't willing to devote her precious time and attention to people - especially to the ones she's not close to.
- Loves bugs, insects, reptiles, frogs and other small critters.
Fawna – is a relatively young mare and Verity’s equus; ability – vegetation-controlling. Fawna's playful personality is easily charming to everyone this small horse meets; she's so curious, simple and easy-going that it's impossible to not love her. Unlike her stray mistress, Fawna doesn’t like being alone or thorn out of people, seeking safety and reassurance among them. She actually enjoys spending time in company of humans, horses or animals and is friendly to all living creatures, but she is bashful, highly-emotional and flighty in shaky situations. Thanks to the small height, Fawna is deft, graceful and rapid, what makes her a great horse for archery and cross-country and an ideal partner for Verity.
