woohoo~ the weather's so hot!!i'm quite proud of this drawing. could've added something like a dragonfly, i thought it's enough of 'stuff' in the drawing already.
not really too pleased with the total color composition, but i think the detail makes up for it.
comments and critiques are definitely welcome.

It's random, it's cute, it's awesome. I love it! Great work! XD Also, i've always found something relaxing about Japanese scenery, i don't know what it is but you seem to have captured that well.

thank you so much. yes, i like random stuff too... but i've got a nephew who's always up to these kind of pranks, and i totally see him putting on goggles and jumping into the pond we have at home. so, basically he's my inspiration for this one. i added hippo into the mix to make more cute and random out of everything.

Hippos are vicious killing machines. That one is either fake, dead, or extremely stupid. That aside, this picture is beautiful.

This is a cute picture, you've really captured the spirit of summer.
Overall, I think that the concept, coloring, shading and lighting are all great. If I would change one thing it would be the fish on the top. The positioning of the fish looks a bit awkward: it looks like likes floating above the water rather than swimming in it.
