you make me to look in a franch dictionary-and its a smal one-so I found just arroser-to water...so some logic tell me that arrose have something with rose...so...maybe-someone who put water to roses?please answer

It's actually a piece of french culture : it refers to a very old movie, at the very beginning, where a gardener is watering the flowers. Some kids put a rock on its pipe, he looks at the pipe to understand what happens and the kids remove the stone, and the gardener is drenched. So the meaning is "the one who waters gets water"
