Trying to get the hang of wolf faces. Although I knew this before, once I started the exercise I found it so fascinating to see those characteristic features of each individual come to life even in my rough sketches.Top centre is Gaia, female wolf from the Black Forest wolf & bear sanctuary, bottom right is wolf hybrid Raik from its twin project in Worbis, Thuringia. Actually, there might be a certain amount of dog in Gaia's gene patterns, too - whatever the reason, the shape of her ears is very distinctive!
