here is my entry for Arcane Idol contest

Backstory -

A passionate musician and a determined single mother struggling in a humble village. She sings with a friend in a tavern every night to earn money.
the villagers loved her music as it made them feel joyful and buoyant.

After her daughter passed away from an accident, she met a merchant who offered a talisman that can fulfill the deepest desire of her heart,
in exchange for that, she will permanently lose her sense of sight.
Deeply missing her daughter,she did not hesitate.

she went to her daughters grave, used the talisman, and get a glimpse of her daughter one last time,
she bids her last farewell by playing the favorite songs of her dearest child.

other souls lingering around also heard her songs and they cant explain the feeling it resonated to them.
her music sounded sorrowful yet beautiful. It made them weep with sadness and happiness.

before the effect of the talisman faded, she hugged her daughter who gently whispered to her ear, "Mom, keep on living.
Be happy and continue making more souls happy. Either living or dead, let them hear your wonderful music."

Granting her daughters last request, she travels from town to town along with her friend and her favorite guitar.
She kept playing music in taverns, but she has more sincere listeners in graveyards.

her audience had given her many names, but the one that people mostly remembered is "Crying Ghost",
where she based her logo.

That name continued spreading and reached countless of places that even wealthy families seek her out and ask her to play music for their loved ones' funeral.
Her music helps ease the grief of the living and brings serenity to the dead.
Sometimes, her music can also cleanse vengeful souls.

Thanks to my wife for improving the writing of the backstory, this is far from what i made as i dont have a good writing skills.
