Here's my colored version of the basic horse lineart i submitted recently. It's Jack! He hates green elves that wear santa hats and overalls!
i think he's a blue roan crossed with a paint. 2 hours to color in corel paintshop.
here's the lineart if anyone wants to color it.

The muscular detail in your anatomy makes me jealous. The Coloring is great- nicely blended in. Control that lighting, though. Don't want to make it glisten (unless that's the mission, glisten away!)

yeah, i tend to get lazy when i don't have backgrounds...i'm glad you pointed that out...i really should go back and fix it, especially the white lines on the neck. thanks for the helpful comment! ^^

I don't know what's awesome-er; the little "heart" shape in his white spotty spot on his rump, or the fact that he hates those darn elves, too!

oh yes...hating elves is definately a plus! especially since they looove to steal your bunny slippers.

Oh my gosh...my niece had her first easter egg hunt!!! She was soooo cute, in this pink starched-like dress (but it was soooo soft) and and after she woke up I went in so my sis could hide eggs and I was like,
"lol wanna see what the easter bunny brought you?! *insanely happy*
Sarah: "uh, uh HUH." so I brought her out and she found like, three at first sight and we got her a basket shdshhygfvh b soooo cute! and then she started sharing the eggs with everyone. XD So that was my highlight of my trip

Yea, I did want to take her home with me! But then she'd have to take Luther, her kitty, too; and Luther would eat my Emilybird

Nope, no baby...this is her 68th and soon to be 69th egg XD. We have to give her calcium medicine because she lays every month! :0
She hasn't laid her second one yet, but she has adopted a pea as an egg--and my dad rushed out earlier and told me in a scared voice, "Katie!! Emily's laid a midget egg!" LMAO. But I checked, and it's that pea! hahaha!

Wow, I'm not really a big horse fan, but I love the colours, especially the blacky-blues in the mane and tail.
The darker blues there, like the ones that look almost black unless you squint, they might be good for the hair in that Ao-andon picture you wanted to colour, actually.
