If I had to make my all-time favorite 50 list of kaiju figures I own, this boy would be an easy pick. I love toys with translucent parts, but in this case it's so fitting, recreating the final battle moments between Gamera and Iris. It's the only version of this toy I own because honestly it looks so cool I didn't see a need to buy a duplicate of the regular one. Back at one of my earlier Godzilla Fests about 10 years ago in the dealer room. A good chunk of the better pieces I own came from buying them off friendly people at the tables

Yeah we've gone the last 12 years straight, it's our second Christmas, the family just loves it, but it really does have an awesome collections of vendors. A lot of the items in my collection I would never have known existed if they hadn't been in the dealer's room

If you don't have a lot of real-life kaiju friends to hang out with it's frankly paradise. We've made a lot of friends, most of the vendors are great and have great stuff, they bring in the Japanese actors, directors, composers, so we've been able to meet so many people who were a part of Godzilla movie history which is just amazing, there's costumes made by fans that get run in the parade, contests, they run the movies at a local theater which is a blast.....yeah, I kinda super recommend it if you can make it
